The in place drying process sets new standards that our customers and insurance adjusters can rely on, and solves drying problems that the entire water damage restoration industry have experienced for years. Thanks to the in place drying process, you can leave both the carpet and pad in place – yet effectively dry the entire structure (including sub-floors and walls!) with little or no demolition or damage to building materials.

The first step in this process is thorough water extraction, with the new water extraction equipment available today it is possible to extract up to 95% or more water from carpet and pad without removing it.

The second step in this process is to install the proper amount of drying equipment necessary (ie. turbo air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.) and to set it up in the proper configuration to promote drying.

The third and final step is proper inspection and monitoring , using moisture meters, thermo-hygrometers, etc… during the drying process. We must determine what is wet, how wet is it, is it drying, or is it dry. It should be said that using this process to dry water damages requires much more drying equipment than you would normally see at a water damage, but it is used for shorter periods of time.
